Yokomine Site
The Yomomine Site is an archaeological site with traces of a late Japanese Paleolithic period, located in the town of Minamitane, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, on the island of Tanegashima. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 2003, and subsequently the designation was expanded to include the nearby Tachikiri Site in 2022.
