Praça Sete de Setembro, popularly known as Praça Sete, is a public square in the Centro of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is located at the intersection of Afonso Pena Avenue and Amazonas Avenue, two of the city’s principal thoroughfares, and is crossed by Rio de Janeiro Street and Carijós Street. The square is regarded as the central point of Belo Horizonte’s central business district and also serves as a venue for cultural events and a landmark within the city center.
