Kition
Kition was an ancient city-kingdom of the island of Cyprus, on the southern coast of the island in present-day Larnaca. It was established by Phoenicians in the beginning of the 10th century BC. Kition's name may come from the Phoenician 𐤊𐤕𐤉.
