Baalbek Stones
The Baalbek Stones are six massive Roman worked stone blocks in Baalbek, Lebanon, characterized by a megalithic giant unparalleled in antiquity. The stones were quarried from nearby hillsides. Several of the large monoliths were only partially hewn from the hillsides.
