Yumurtalık, formerly called Aegeae, Ayas, Lyeys or Laiazzo, is a municipality and district of Adana Province, Turkey. Its area is 447 km2, and its population is 17,654. It is a Mediterranean port and resort town at a distance of about 40 km from Adana city.
